To celebrate St. David's Day, we're excited to launch our first Welsh-language course for Wales's film and TV industry: An Introduction to Avid Media Composer and Post Production.
This course goes beyond teaching software skills—it delves into how Media Composer is used in the TV and film industry in Wales. You'll gain a solid foundation to enhance your skills and advance your career.
What the Training Covers:
💻 Introduction to Media Composer: Learn the layout and tools of this powerful software.
🎞️ Collaborative Working in Post-Production: Discover how to work effectively in a team environment.
🎛️ Organising, Viewing, and Cutting Content: Develop practical editing techniques.
🎥 Building a Sequence and Adding Audio: Craft cohesive edits with audio integration.
📺 Exporting Edits for Viewing: Prepare your projects for final delivery.
This fully-funded programme has received support from the Welsh Government via Creative Wales. If you live or work in Wales and have a strong interest in the TV and film industry, you can join free of charge! Spaces are limited to six participants per session, and an application process is required. But don’t worry—we’ll run additional sessions later this year, giving you another chance to participate.
Please Note:
This session will be delivered in Welsh using Welsh-language content.
Fluency in speaking and understanding Welsh is essential.
