Creative Cardiff hosts a gathering for artists, businesses and creative freelancers called Creative Cuppa. These informal events will bring the creative community together for the all-important three Cs - connection, creativity and caffeine.
Each Creative Cuppa event starts with a TED-style talk on a theme that is relevant across all creative sectors, followed by an informal hour to build relationships, share knowledge, and uncover new opportunities.
This event starts at 2pm and finishes at 4pm.
The topic for this cuppa will be 'Navigating a creative career', with local Barry creative, Gosia Buzzanca!
Gosia Buzzanca was born in Poznań, Poland. She began publishing short stories in 2002, before moving to the UK in 2008 to study film. In 2020 she earned a Creative Writing MA with distinction. In 2022, she was the recipient of the W&A Working-Class Writers’ Prize and in 2025 she was selected for Hay Festival Writers at Work programme. Her first book, a memoir There She Goes, My Beautiful World, set between Poland and Wales is due to be published in October with Calon. She now lives in Barry, South Wales and is working on her first novel. Outside of writing Gosia’s creative passions include documentary filmmaking and pop-culture.
