This is a fully funded session delivered by Gorilla Academy as part of their Creative Skills Fund in Post Production and the course is aimed at professionals within the TV and Film industry in Wales
There are a number of useful tools in Premiere Pro to aid in the online edit. In this course we’ll go over some of the most regularly used processes and see how these are achieved.
The aim of the course is to aid in the final stages of the edit for online editors and to help you ready the Final Cut for delivery without having to move out of Premiere Pro as your online tool and making the edit more efficient
In the training session we will be looking at the following:
- An overview of the software itself including subscriptions and installing
- A brief overview of the interface and the tools available to help you familiarise yourself with the software
- A brief look at workflows from ingest to delivery
Once familiar with the software we’ll then look at some of the tasks you could use it for:
- Creating and animating text
- Split Screens / Picture-in-picture
- Using and understanding Matte Types (Track mattes, Alpha and Luma and blending modes)
- Blurring and mask tracking
- Compositing – Chroma Keying
- Ensuring legal sound and pictures
- The Render Queue
- AS11 delivery files
