I’m a trumpet player, composer, arranger and teacher !
My experience as a performer is mainly as a professional session trumpet player, namely for Cardiff based band Afro Cluster, and as lead-trumpet for ‘The Siglo Section’, a big swing band also based in Cardiff. Otherwise, I’ve performed in Sister Act the musical, Glastonbury festival, the welsh national Eisteddfod’s.
I’ve been a music teacher in various capacities since graduating in 2015.This includes (mainly) tutoring beginner, intermediate and advanced brass, teaching group sessions in all musical disciplines for children and adults, plus delivering workshops in jazz improvisation.
My goal - I want to create a social and educational hub. A place we can pool all of our collective knowledge of community engagement, creative arts, culture, entertainment and education.
