Volunteer organising a Camera Club for a blind charity in Cardiff, at Sight Life

About

I have been a volunteer for 10 years at SightLife and a few years ago I started a camera Group for visually impaired members', I was once a free lance photographer. We have had many exhibitions in Cardiff and sold our photographs to a wide audience This year we have a prestigious exhibition in the Welsh Senedd to commemorate our 160 years of service.

A group of blind and partially
sighted photographers is
proving that sight loss is no
barrier to taking fantastic photos –
and have an exhibition in the heart
of the capital to prove it.
The exhibition comprises photos
taken by members of Sight Life, formerly
Cardiff Institute for the Blind.
One of the photographers is Andy
Busbridge-King, whose life was
turned around when he realised he
could keep taking photos despite his
sight loss. When Andy was diagnosed
with glaucoma in 2006, his life
changed completely.
