Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours

Salary: £26,000.00 - £33,000.00 per annum

Purpose of the job:

With a focus on execution, performance, and technical delivery, the Digital Marketing Executive will take ownership of digital activities through our CRM (HubSpot), website, email marketing, social media, paid campaigns, and analytics. Working in close collaboration with our Marketing Executive, you will bring digital campaigns to life, ensuring their timely delivery and effectiveness across all channels. This is a digital-focused role, ideal for someone passionate about leveraging digital tools, CRM systems, content platforms, and data to drive results.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone with a passion for digital platforms and the drive to make a real impact on learner and employer engagement. You’ll act as the linchpin for all things digital, setting up, testing, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on campaign performance, with a particular focus on using HubSpot to maximise campaign automation, lead nurturing, and customer journey improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Take full ownership of HubSpot marketing execution: build, schedule, segment and automate email, audience workflows, and CRM campaigns, ensuring quality control and brand consistency.

· Manage lead nurturing workflows and customer journeys to support learner and employer conversions.

· Report on campaign performance through HubSpot dashboards and analytics tools, using insights to make recommendations and optimise future activity.

· Ensure CRM data is up to date, clean, and segmented effectively for campaign targeting.

· Collaborate with the Marketing Executive to schedule and publish finalised website and social content.

· Manage and execute paid social and PPC campaigns including set-up, A/B testing, monitoring performance and reporting.

· Monitor SEO performance, flag improvements, and help implement SEO enhancements including meta descriptions, keyword optimisations and site structure improvements.

· Translate creative briefs into live marketing assets building emails, landing pages, and social posts using pre-approved content, imagery, and brand guidelines.

· Coordinate the scheduling of campaigns to ensure alignment across channels and departments.

· Work with external partners (where needed) to support the delivery of digital assets such as video or digital collateral.

· Provide regular reports and insights into campaign engagement, click-through rates, open rates, conversions, and social reach.

· Help identify opportunities for digital optimisation across all stages of the marketing funnel.

· Work seamlessly with the Marketing Executive and Graphic Designer to ensure alignment on campaign delivery and brand standards.

· Liaise with internal teams to understand campaign needs and ensure digital activity supports wider business objectives.

· Support internal communication efforts with the technical setup and distribution of internal e-newsletters and communications via HubSpot.

Essential Criteria:

· Significant use of CRM in a marketing context (HubSpot CRM experience highly desirable)'

· Digitally competent and confident, with experience using social media and website CMS platforms

· Impressive, demonstrable track record and skills/experience gained within a similar position(s), at a similar level

· Strong data literacy, with experience interpreting marketing analytics and using insight to inform action

· Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple digital campaigns simultaneously

· Excellent communication skills at all levels

· Confident communicator (written, to include copy writing, and verbal) with strong attention to tone and audience

· Accuracy and attention to detail with an eye for detail and strives for perfection

· Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative

· Committed to continuous learning and professional development, particularly in digital marketing

· Demonstrable commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion

Desirable criteria

· Knowledge of apprenticeships and/or work-based learning

· A relevant marketing or digital marketing qualification

· Knowledge of courses and funding methods

· Welsh speaker

· Knowledge and experience of AI used for marketing
